Some congregations have expressed interest in chanting the entire psalm text with the tones printed in Christian Worship: Psalter. While the intended purpose of providing these chanting tones with the full psalm text is for private or home devotional use (see the video “CW21: Psalter for Family Devotions”  https://www.christianworship.com/preview/psalms), many of the tones provided with the full psalm texts are available at lettered Psalm settings throughout the Psalter and could be utilized for full-text chant and tone accompaniment in corporate worship. This chart has been prepared to show where these tones—if available—can be found within Christian Worship: Psalter. Tones not available in the Psalter are available in previous Christian Worship: A Lutheran Hymnal (1993) resources.
